March 2010 - As a new mom, I've begun to explore a variety of eco-friendly, traditional baby products. Sometimes my sister calls me a 'hippie' because of the earth-friendly, back-to-basics nature of these products, and sometimes she calls me a 'yuppie' because of the level of research I do and the extra few dollars I'm willing to spend to buy something special for my family. So what does that make me? A well-educated, earth-friendly mama - a huppie!
Thanks for linking your Wordless Wednesday Pic with mine. It is amazing that just on Wednesday Moms did a protect at Target because a Mom was asked not to breastfeed in the store. Target itself, does not have a no breastfeeding policy, but I guess it is hard to keep their workers educated. http://abcn.ws/svB08h
Yes, I read some articles both before and after the event. So ridiculous that women need to unite in that way for such a simple thing, but I guess if we don't all support the cause, people's ignorance will remain the same. Thanks for stopping by!!
